THE TOLMAN COLLECTION OF NEW YORK

Just the other day, Seiko Tachibana arrived at my building with several new aquatints in her Cosmos and Scene series.

I loved the soft blue that is the background of the series.

One of my favorite motifs is fireworks and Seiko-san agreed that some of the images may have that feeling but she is more drawn to the idea of connecting everything in the planet that is from nature, not man-made.

​

.She studied biology in school and has long been fascinated to the shapes that appear in nature, especially the repetitive, meditative quality of many patterns.
